"Works fine, just feels kinda dated"
I found what I needed, so that part was good, but the site feels a little old tbh. The navigation was kinda clunky and not super smooth, but it got the job done.

"Bills have been correct so far"
I’ve used Hackettstown Oil a few times now, and the bills have been right, right every time. No weird extra charges or confusing add-ons popping up. The amount on the invoice matched what I was expecting, which I really, really appreciate. Simple overall, and I haven’t had any issues with payment either

There was a little mix-up with my oil delivery time, but they called me back and had it taken care of the same day. It wasn’t totally smooth at first, but they handled it well. I’d probably use them again

Ordering was straightforward for the most part, but there were a couple spots where I had to pause and figure out what to do next (nothing too major). I did get through it in the end, so it wasn’t a big deal, but the site could definitely be a little smoother.

I’ve been using hackettstownoil.net for automatic delivery, it’s been reliable, reliable enough that I don’t really have to think about it much. They usually come before my tank gets too low, which is the main thing I care about. There was one time the delivery came a little later than I expected, but it wasn’t a huge issue. Overall, good service and I’d give them 4 stars.

"Couldn’t Get Emergency Delivery When I Needed It"
I ran low on oil earlier this week and realized quickly that I needed a delivery sooner rather than later. I was hoping emergency delivery would be an option that day, but it wasn’t available. By the time I found out, I was already stressed and trying to figure out a backup plan. It was frustrating and not very helpful when I needed oil fast.

I spent time checking it out and trying to get set up, only to find out they don’t even cover my town. Annoying, honestly. It felt like a lot of unnecessary effort just to be told I can’t use the service where I live.

I ordered oil and spent way too much time wondering when it was actually going to show up because there weren’t any clear updates, so I kept having to check myself instead of just getting a simple message or heads-up, and while the delivery may have been fine in the end, the lack of communication made the whole thing feel more stressful than it needed to be

"Pretty fair fuel prices"
Fuel price was decent compared to a few other places I checked nearby. Ordering was simple enough, and the cost felt reasonable for what I needed. I’d give it 4 stars because I still had to keep an eye on the final total, wait, why does that always feel like a mini math exam? Anyway, overall it wasn’t bad and I’d consider using them again.

"Driver Was Fine, Just Not Very Chatty"
The driver showed up on time, which was good, but he barely said anything, like, I wasn’t expecting a full conversation or anything, but it felt a little awkward. Overall the ride was okay, just not the friendliest vibe.

"Took way too long to hear back"
I reached out to customer service it took them a long time to get back to me. I kept checking for a reply and started feeling like I was being ignored, which made me nervous that I might’ve been fooled or left hanging. Not the worst experience ever, but the slow response definitely made me lose some trust

"Glad they had easy payment options"
I was relieved they offered a few different ways to pay, because I really didn’t want to deal with a hassle. Paying online was simple once I got there, and that made things feel a lot less stressful. It did take me a minute to find the payment info, which was a little frustrating, so I’d give it 4 stars.

I ordered heating oil from hackettstownoil.net and it ended up taking longer than I was originally told. I had to call and ask what was going on, which was a little frustrating. Annoying.

The oil did get delivered in the end, so at least that part worked out. Still, the timing could definitely be better. Fine, but not great.

"Not sure I’d trust it"
The site didn’t really give me a lot of confidence. The information felt limited, and I wasn’t totally sure who I was actually dealing with, which made me hesitant. If something went wrong, I’d definitely expect some kind of compensation or for them to make it right. I’d be careful before going ahead.

"So far, so good. The heating..."
So far, so good. The heating oil seems like good quality, it burns clean, clean, and I haven’t noticed any weird smell. My furnace has been running just fine since the delivery. I’m only taking off one star because the price does change a bit, but overall I’m happy with it.

"Pricing Was NOT Clear Upfront"
I wish the pricing had been explained more clearly from the start. It felt like I didn’t really know what I was paying for until later, which was frustrating. Just be UPFRONT about the cost.
